Privacy policy

This policy explains how DataPackHub ("we") handles personal information about our customers and website visitors. For information about data contained in datasets we sell, see data sourcing and the data removal request form.

What we collect

• Account data: email address, password (stored only as a salted scrypt hash), optional name and company.
• Order data: products bought, pack IDs allocated, amounts, payment status and blockchain transaction references provided by the payment provider.
• Download logs: time, pack, format, IP address and browser user-agent for each download, used for security and support.
• Security data: sign-in attempts and session records.
• Usage analytics: privacy-aware first-party event counts (for example "product page viewed"). We do not record dataset contents in analytics.

Why we use it

To provide your account and purchases, deliver downloads, prevent fraud and abuse, provide support, meet legal obligations, and improve the service.

Cookies

We use one essential session cookie to keep you signed in. It is HTTP-only and not used for advertising.

Payment providers

Crypto payments are processed by third-party payment providers. They receive the order reference and amount; they may process wallet and transaction data under their own privacy policies.

Retention

Order and allocation records are kept so you can always see which packs you received and so repeat purchases can exclude them. Download logs and security logs are kept for as long as needed for security and accounting.

Your rights
