Frequently asked questions

How does SmartPack allocation work?
Every dataset is split into numbered files of approximately 50,000 records called SmartPacks (for example UK-0007). When you order, the system reserves the lowest-numbered packs you have never received, and allocates them to your account once payment is verified. 100K is 2 packs, 250K is 5 packs, 1M is 20 packs.
What happens when I buy again?
You receive different packs. While unseen packs remain available, DataPackHub automatically excludes SmartPacks previously delivered to your account, so you never receive the same SmartPack twice. Packs are not exclusive: other customers can buy the same pack IDs.
What does 100K cost?
100K records cost $49. All prices are shown on each dataset page before checkout โ€” no quote request, no subscription. A one-off 30K trial file is available for $19.
How soon can I download?
Immediately after your payment is verified on the blockchain with the required confirmations. Your packs appear in your Data Library and secure download links are emailed to you โ€” no manual approval is needed for normal orders.
How does blockchain payment verification work?
You send the exact amount to the wallet address shown for your chosen asset and network, then paste your transaction hash. Our server looks the transaction up on the blockchain itself and checks the recipient address, asset or token contract, amount, time, confirmations and that the transaction has not been used before. Only then is the order marked paid.
What is a transaction hash (TXID)?
It is the unique ID of a blockchain transaction. Your wallet or exchange shows it in the transaction details โ€” a long string of letters and numbers, sometimes starting with 0x.
How many blockchain confirmations are required?
It depends on the network and is shown on your order page โ€” typically 2 for Bitcoin and around 12โ€“20 blocks for Ethereum, BNB Smart Chain and TRON; Solana payments are accepted once finalized.
What happens if my transaction is pending?
Nothing is lost. We store your transaction hash and re-check it automatically until it has enough confirmations, then unlock your downloads. If we cannot see the transaction yet, the page says so โ€” do not pay again.
Can the same TXID be used twice?
No. A blockchain transaction can pay exactly one order. Submitting a transaction hash that was already used is refused.
What format is the data?
Every pack can be downloaded as CSV (UTF-8) or XLSX. The column layout is shown on each dataset page in the data dictionary.
Can I preview the fields?
Yes. Each dataset page has a data dictionary with every column, its measured coverage and a synthetic example, plus a structure preview. Some datasets also offer a downloadable sample.
How often is data updated?
Each dataset shows its version code, last processed date and a changelog. New packs and versions are added as data is re-processed; you can ask to be notified when new packs arrive.
What happens when I have purchased all packs?
Checkout is blocked for that dataset so you never pay for data you already have, and the page shows: "You have purchased all currently available unique packs in this dataset." You can ask to be emailed when new packs are available.
How accurate is the data?
No contact dataset is 100% accurate, and we do not claim it is. Instead we publish measured figures for every dataset: field coverage, duplicate rows, malformed phone values, the version and the last processed date.
How long can I download my files?
Each purchased pack allows 5 downloads per pack within 30 days. Your purchase history and pack IDs stay in your account permanently.
Can I use this data for cold calling or email marketing?
That depends on the law where you and the recipients are. You are responsible for lawful use, including screening against do-not-call and suppression lists (such as the UK TPS/CTPS or the US National Do Not Call Registry) and honouring opt-outs.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds or replacement packs are provided when a file is corrupted or unreadable, the wrong product was delivered, a pack was delivered to you twice due to a system error, or the file materially differs from the published structure. Change-of-mind refunds after download are not offered.
